The Mures have been working for years with a few top growers located on the hillsides of Rouffach. They pick the fruit by hand allowing the whole clusters to be pressed. Fermentation takes place in temperature controlled tanks. Rene crafts this supple and fruity classical Alsatian wine, with butter and hazelnut aromas. This Pinot Blanc has a delicate, floral nose and excellent roundness.

Rene Mure and his children Veronique and Thomas represent the 11th and 12th generations of winegrowers.The Mure family is winegrower in the region of Rouffach since 1650. In 1935, Alfred Mure, Rene’s grandfather, bought the Clos St Landelin, a 32 acres family-monopole vineyard.
