Although well known for his deliciously concentrated red wines, the best-kept secret here just may be the Rose. Made from three grapes, it is a blend of 50% Cinsault, 30% Grenache, and 42% Syrah. The Cinsault & Syrah are kept 3 to 4 hours on the skins, before being slowly pressed – a technique known as pressurage directe. The Grenache is fermented for a short time and then saignee, or bled off, and blended in tank. The l’Instant Rose has beautiful pink color, lovely aromatics, and fully dry palate. Serve well chilled!
