Claude Dugat is widely considered one of the top producers in all of Burgundy. The property consists of 12 hectares and ranges from Bourgogne to Griottes-Chambertin where he owns .15 hectares.
All of the vineyards are farmed organically and only fertilized once every 4 years. This is done to strain the vines and naturally produce very low yields of outstanding fruit. All of the wines are fermented and aged in barrels for up to 16 months.
