For years Cecchi has operated with respect for the plants, the land and for people. All of this resulted in Natio, a wine product with native grapes, produced using organic agricultural methods.
The Sangiovese is the principal grape making up a good 90% of the grape blend, integrated with 10% Colorino. The grapes are gathered when fully ripe and fermented in steel containers, at a controlled temperature. During the production process checks are carried out both by our technicians and by external personnel commissioned by the certifying body.
All our efforts are directed towards the goal of obtaining a fresh, fragrant product having a good structure that improves during the period of ageing in wood. Of a lively ruby red colour, to the nose Natio has intense, fresh fruity fragrances with traces of spices coming from the ageing in wood. It’s flavour is balanced and well structured, soft with notes hinting at cherry, myrtle and plum.Ideal with entrees and traditional meats.
A serving temperature of 16 – 18 °C is recommended.
