Wine maker notes
L.A. Cetto Nebbiolo Private Reserve is fermented for 10 to 15 days and then aged 14 months in French oak barrels and 24 months in bottle.
Best with Italian food, grilled red meats or in sauce and mid-soft cheeses.
Best served at 18°C.
Founded by Angelo Cetto, history says that Cetto started the wine business in 1928, bought a number of small wineries in the 1980, and now he is responsible for more than half of the country’s wine. Cetto cultivates 2,500 acres of vineyards in Baja California; also tequila and olive oil.
