Bold, ripe and almost flashy, showing good drive and vivacity, with fresh acidity pumping the boysenberry, steeped plum and raspberry fruit along while a roasted apple wood note fills in the finish. Drink now through 2018. 18,300 cases made. 90 Points - Wine Spectator
Impressive for this appellation. Spicy exotic nose with vanilla, hazelnuts and cocoa. Opens up with a nice earthy minerality and polished fruit. Wonderfully juicy and nicely textured on the palate with good length. Soft and fine tannins. Really delicious to drink now, but tannins will soften further over the next couple of years.
